让城市记忆成为一次共同体验Making urban memory a shared experience
The Memory of the City 是一场由短片放映与现场活动组成、时长至少 90 分钟的快闪活动。我们选择来自法国、中国、英国、意大利和西班牙五个国家的短片，让巴黎、上海、伦敦、罗马和马德里的城市经验在同一个空间相遇。在这座汇聚世界各地学生的城市，我们希望和同样来自不同地方的同学一起，谈论他们去过的异乡，以及在那里发生的故事。影片是交流的起点，猜谜、Bingo 与现场分享则让观众把自己的记忆带进来。
The Memory of the City was a pop-up event lasting at least 90 minutes, combining short-film screenings with live activities. We selected films from France, China, the UK, Italy and Spain, bringing experiences of Paris, Shanghai, London, Rome and Madrid into one room. In a city with an international student community, we wanted to invite students to share the places they had visited and the stories they carried with them. Films opened the conversation; quizzes, Bingo and discussion invited audiences to contribute their own memories.

作为项目负责人，我确定策展主题、寻找相关影片，并联系导演沟通放映授权；与组员一起寻找场地，协助拍摄 TikTok 宣传短视频，制作周边、设计活动，并担任现场主持人。我也负责协调片单、宣传和现场工作，让各组的进度与活动流程衔接。
As project lead, I established the theme, sourced films and contacted directors about screening permission. I worked with the team to find a venue, assisted with TikTok promotional shoots, created merchandise, designed activities and hosted the event. I also coordinated programme, promotion and on-site work so that responsibilities and deadlines supported the audience journey.
01 · 巴黎，法国｜C’était un rendez-vous

近乎贴地的镜头带我们疾驰穿越清晨的巴黎。街道、红绿灯与转弯构成速度的节奏，直到终点那个奔向爱人的拥抱，才让城市记忆从沿途风景转向等在那里的人。
A low camera races through Paris at dawn. Streets, lights and turns establish the rhythm of speed, until an embrace at the destination shifts the memory of the city from the passing scenery to the person waiting there.
02 · 上海，中国｜关于上海的三个短片
Shanghai, China · Three short films about Shanghai
与爱犬分离的阿姨、“种出来的男友”、祖父订制的西服，构成三个黑白故事。市井温情、都市孤独与个人记忆，在弄堂里的牵挂、想象和叹息中，与城市变迁发生联系。
Three black-and-white stories follow an aunt separated from her dog, a boyfriend who is grown, and a grandfather’s bespoke suit. Everyday affection, urban loneliness and personal memory intersect with a changing city.
03 · 伦敦，英国｜London from My Garden
London, United Kingdom
从花园静静窥视伦敦，城市仿佛被温柔地隔开一层。叶隙间的光与远处的街景，使这份保持距离的私人凝视，带着诗意，也带着真实生活的气息。
London is observed quietly from a garden, as though held at a gentle distance. Light through leaves and glimpses of streets create a private, poetic view grounded in everyday life.
04 · 罗马，意大利｜罗马短片
Rome, Italy · A short film set in Rome
镜头从石板路的磨痕、柱廊下的阴影和墙上的金光进入城市。这不是明信片式的宏伟罗马，而是历史仍在日常细节中呼吸的地方。
Worn paving stones, shadows under colonnades and gold light on walls offer an everyday Rome, where history seems to breathe through small details rather than postcard grandeur.
05 · 马德里，西班牙｜Parte del Paisaje
Madrid, Spain
明亮的光线、街区的色彩与行走时身体的节奏，构成开放而有温度的城市经验。城市不只靠眼睛记住，也靠身体感受。
Bright light, neighbourhood colours and the bodily rhythm of walking create an open, warm experience of Madrid. A city is remembered through the body as well as the eye.

让一场放映真正发生：协调、应变与现场执行
做 The Memory of the City 时，我们要做的不只是“放几部短片”，而是把“用短片连接不同城市记忆”这个概念，变成一场观众愿意到场、流程顺畅的线下活动。从片单到现场，每个环节都要与人沟通，也要回应实际条件。
多方沟通，在变动里保住内容。筹备中，原定合作的导演临时撤回放映授权。我和团队重新联系导演、沟通替代片单，同时与场地方确认新片目的时长与版权展示要求，尽量保住内容的完整性。食物相关活动涉及额外许可，我们反复核对要求后，将这一环节调整为猜谜和 Bingo，在可执行的条件下保留参与感。
跨环节协调，把所有工作放进同一条流程。片单授权、场地布置、宣传获客和现场体验需要同步推进。我把定片单、拍宣传素材、进场布置等节点放进同一张时间表，提前判断某一项延期会影响哪些后续工作。片单或活动形式一旦变化，就要同步调整物料、宣传表达和现场安排。
小组协作，让每个人对上同一个目标。我围绕片单、宣传与现场工作明确组员分工，并协调各组之间的交接。协助拍摄 TikTok 和 Reels、在小红书推广的同时，也与现场组确认观众进场、放映开始和互动衔接的时间。我们为片单变更与设备问题准备备选方案，明确发生状况时由谁接手，避免现场只等一个人作决定。
最终，这场放映顺利落地，观众从入场到散场完成了设计中的体验，交流与互动也在现场发生。这次经历让我确认：一个想法能否成立，不只取决于创意，还取决于那些细小的条件能否被逐一对接、落实与兜底。
Making a screening happen: coordination, contingencies and delivery
The Memory of the City involved more than showing a few short films. We had to turn an idea—connecting memories of cities through cinema—into an event people would attend and move through comfortably. Every step required both communication and practical decisions.
Communication under changing conditions. When a director withdrew screening permission, the team and I contacted other filmmakers and revised the programme. We checked running times and rights-credit requirements with the venue. After reviewing the additional permissions involved in food activities, we replaced that element with quizzes and Bingo, preserving participation within a feasible format.
Coordinating interdependent work. Rights, venue preparation, promotion and the audience experience ran in parallel. I connected programme decisions, promotional shoots and venue setup on one schedule, identifying how delays would affect later tasks. A change in one area meant revisiting materials, messaging and the running order.
Giving the team a shared plan. I clarified responsibilities across programme, promotion and on-site work and coordinated handovers. Alongside assisting with TikTok and Reels and promoting on Xiaohongshu, I aligned arrival, screening and activity timings with the on-site team. Contingencies for programme changes and equipment problems included clear ownership, so a response did not depend on one person.
The screening was delivered successfully, with conversation and participation unfolding through the planned audience journey. It taught me that an idea becomes real through the patient work of aligning people, conditions and responsibilities, as much as through the strength of its concept.
